EcoTank Marks Earth Day 2026 with Record-Breaking Reduction in Single-Use Plastic Waste

April 22, 2026 — In celebration of Earth Day, EcoTank is proud to share a significant milestone in its ongoing mission to reduce single-use plastic waste across North America.
As of the morning of April 22, 2026, EcoTank has already prevented 424,740 plastic windshield washer fluid jugs from entering the landfills this year alone. This figure represents a remarkable acceleration in environmental impact, nearly matching the company’s total reduction of 480,424 jugs throughout all of 2025—achieved in just under four months!
This rapid growth builds on the company’s earlier progress, with 117,797 jugs reduced in 2024, highlighting a clear upward trajectory in EcoTank’s environmental impact. With a projected 121% increase in single-use plastic reduction, the company is on track to more than double last year’s impact.
